The Oki Model OL5157M EML features high optical power output, 5 dBm CW, with greater than 9 dB dynamic extinction ratio at 40 Gb/s. The EA modulator operates under low modulation voltage, < 3 Vpp, and has a built-in internal DC bias circuit. The Narda EA driver is capable of data rates to 44Gb/s that comes with V or GPPO type connector, has an output voltage adjustable in the 2.5 Vpp to 4 Vpp range, has built-in simple electronic circuit for cross-point control to optimize the optical eye diagram and transmission length. Both EML and the data driver modules are compatible with the 40Gb/s MSA package.
