40G Pigtailed Fiber Optic EAM, EML Modules
Oki's 40G Electro-Absorption (EA) Modulators and Electro-Absorption Modulated Lasers (EML) feature low drive voltage and modulation bandwidth over 30Ghz in a hermetically sealed package with a V-connector. The C-band EA modulators are offered with either low chirp (OM5653C-30B) or low polarization dependant loss (OM5642W-30B) characteristics. The OL5157M EML is a 1550 nm DFB laser monolithically integrated with a 40G Electro-Absorption Modulator in a seven pin package with V-connector and integrated DC-bias circuit.
